Bright Electric is a rising electrical contractor based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, known for delivering high-quality electrical construction services with professionalism and efficiency. We specialize in Oklahoma Title 61 public bidding projects, including schools, municipal facilities, and other government construction projects.
We are currently seeking an Apprentice Electrician with 2–4 years of commercial electrical construction experience to join our team on projects throughout the Oklahoma City metro area and central Oklahoma.
Position Requirements
- 2–4 years of commercial or industrial electrical construction experience
- Must be registered with the Oklahoma Construction Industries Board (CIB) as an Apprentice Electrician
- Residential experience is not applicable to this position
- Basic knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to work safely and follow direction from Journeymen and Foremen
- Must be able to pass a background check, as work will often take place in schools and government facilities
Responsibilities
- Assist Journeymen and Foremen with installation of commercial electrical systems
- Install conduit, wire, lighting systems, and electrical equipment
- Pull wire and assist with panel and device installation
- Read and interpret basic electrical drawings and layouts
- Maintain job site safety standards and organization
- Continue learning and developing skills toward Journeyman Electrician status

Paid Holidays (Eligible after 1 year):
Paid holidays are provided when they fall on a Monday through Friday. Recognized holidays include New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4th), Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Paid Time Off (Eligible after 1 year):
Employees receive 5 days of paid time off annually, which may be used for vacation or sick leave.
Paid Birthday (Eligible after 1 year):
Employees receive a paid day off for their birthday when it falls on a Monday through Friday.
