Best State LLC is preparing for its first cannabis harvest and is seeking reliable seasonal support staff to assist during the post-harvest production phase.
Position Overview
We are hiring approximately 3 seasonal team members to support bucking and packaging/labeling operations during a short-term, high-volume production period.
This is a hands-on role in a regulated facility requiring attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Bucking harvested cannabis plant material
- Packaging finished products in compliance with state regulations
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of production areas
- Following all SOPs, safety protocols, and compliance requirements
- Supporting the production team as needed during harvest processing
Schedule & Duration
- Temporary seasonal assignment (~2 weeks total work)
- Start date: Approximately 12 days after harvest completion
- Exact dates may vary based on harvest timing and facility readiness
Requirements
- Must pass state and federal background checks
- Ability to perform repetitive, detail-focused tasks
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Prior production or cannabis experience preferred but not required
- Occasional lifting: 20–40 lbs
- Frequent lifting: 10–25 lbs
- Repetitive handling: light to moderate totes, bins, or trimmed material
- Team lifting: up to ~40–50 lbs (when moving larger harvest bins or bulk material)
Compensation & Benefits
- $18.00/hour starting wage
