Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install, maintain, and repair appliances such as refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, and other kitchen equipment.
- Operate company vehicles safely for maintenance tasks across multiple sites while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and system manuals to diagnose issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on air conditioning units, HVAC/R systems (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration), and mechanical systems with precision.
- Support construction or renovation projects by assisting with equipment installation or system upgrades as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC system repair, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
- Knowledge of HVAC & appliance technology combined with hands-on experience in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO).
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams to troubleshoot complex systems effectively.
- Mechanical knowledge related to mechanical systems repair and kitchen equipment maintenance.
- Experience operating company vehicles safely and responsibly in compliance with traffic laws.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients alike.
- Construction experience or familiarity with building systems is a plus.
