Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Make Ready Technician to join our maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing residential and commercial units for new tenants or occupants by performing a variety of repair, cleaning, and maintenance tasks. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure that each unit is move-in ready, safe, and welcoming. Duties
- Perform comprehensive repairs and maintenance on building interior systems, including plumbing, electrical equipment, HVAC systems, and facilities equipment.
- Conduct plumbing system maintenance and repair, ensuring all fixtures, pipes, and drainage are functioning properly.
- Utilize hand tools, schematics, and electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose issues accurately.
- Execute carpentry tasks such as drywall repair, painting (including residential painting), and minor woodwork to restore or improve unit aesthetics.
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical equipment repair techniques to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues.
- Maintain building interior by performing maintenance painting, HVAC system repair, facilities equipment maintenance, and general cleaning as needed.
- Follow safety protocols during all repair activities and document work performed through detailed reports.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of make-ready tasks while delivering excellent customer service to residents or clients.
- Read schematics and technical manuals to effectively identify issues and implement solutions efficiently.
- Lead or assist with maintenance operations related to building interior maintenance, facilities maintenance, and MRO (maintenance, repair & operations) activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO), with a strong understanding of mechanical knowledge across various systems.
- Demonstrated electrical experience including electrical work, electrical equipment repair, and working with schematics.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems including diagnosis and repair skills; HVAC certification is a plus.
- Skilled in plumbing system maintenance and repair with familiarity in plumbing codes and safety standards.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics, and testing devices such as ohmmeters.
- Ability to perform residential painting along with general carpentry skills for interior improvements.
- Strong communication skills in English for effective team collaboration and customer interaction.
- Leadership qualities that support team efforts while maintaining a positive attitude toward safety and quality standards.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform manual tasks throughout the workday.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
