About us
Mighty Hot Tub Movers is a fast-growing, owner-run company with around 100 five-star Google reviews. We deliver new hot tubs for the top spa retailers in the Twin Cities and handle moves, relocations, and removals for homeowners across the metro. We're putting a second truck on the road and need the right person to run it.
The role
This isn't a warehouse or over-the-road job — you're out at different homes every day, leading a small crew and solving real puzzles: tight gates, decks, stairs, sloped yards. You'll be the senior person on site and the face of the company with our customers.
You'll train directly with the owners for your first few weeks. We teach you everything we know, with the goal of you running your own truck and crew.
What you'll do
- Drive a pickup + trailer to 3–5 jobs per day across the Twin Cities
- Lead a 2-person crew (we pair you with experienced helpers)
- Deliver new hot tubs for our dealer partners
- Move, relocate, and remove hot tubs for homeowners
- Handle customer walk-throughs, placement, and sign-off
- Own load securement and keep the truck, trailer, dolly, and straps in order
What you need
- 21+ with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record (we run an MVR check — it's an insurance requirement)
- Confident towing and backing a trailer in tight spots — driveways, narrow streets, job sites
- Able to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly and stay active all day (tubs run 500–900 lbs; we move them as a team with specialized dollies, but this is physical work)
- Able to pass a pre-employment screening
- Reliable, on time, and comfortable talking with customers in their homes
- Smartphone for scheduling, routing, and job photos
Nice to have: moving, delivery, appliance, landscaping, or trades experience; equipment hauling; basic mechanical handiness.
What we offer
- $28–$34/hr depending on experience, with a raise review after 90 days
- Year-round, full-time position — 40–50 hrs/week spring through fall. Winter is our slower season, so hours drop, but we keep our full-time crew working with deliveries and moves and guarantee at least 25 hrs/week so you're never left without a paycheck
- Paid training from day one, directly with the owners
- Primarily Monday–Friday daytime, with occasional Saturdays in peak season
