Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver, where you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of building materials and supplies to our valued customers. As a key representative of our company, you’ll be responsible for safely transporting goods, managing deliveries, and maintaining excellent communication with customers and team members alike.
Duties
- Safely operate Straight Box Truck / Flatbed and commercial vehicles with to deliver building materials across designated routes.
- Load and unload products using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity while adhering to scheduled delivery times.
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with their orders, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Verify delivery accuracy, complete necessary paperwork, and obtain signatures upon delivery completion.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure safety standards are met at all times.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or issues encountered during deliveries.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably within the building supply or warehouse industry.
- Valid driver’s license with F endorsement with a clean driving record; experience operating straight trucks or similar commercial vehicles is highly preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of building materials safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and traffic safety regulations.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
