About Satellite
Satellite Restaurant and Arcade Bar is a new concept from the Starrcade team opening in Marietta, GA, featuring a full bar, kitchen, retro arcade energy, modern games, throwback classics, and a lively guest-focused atmosphere.
We are building our opening front-of-house team and are looking for hospitality-minded employees who want to be part of a new concept from the beginning. Satellite is designed to be a fun, inclusive, high-energy environment with strong service standards and a team-based approach to hospitality.
Position Summary
We are hiring servers who can provide excellent guest service while supporting the overall flow of the restaurant, bar, and arcade floor.
This is a team-based service position. While sections or seating charts may be used, servers are expected to stay aware of the full guest experience, support teammates, run food, maintain clean guest areas, assist with arcade-related guest questions, and communicate clearly throughout service.
Our compensation reflects the broader responsibilities of the role, including a higher hourly base rate than many traditional restaurant FOH positions, plus participation in the FOH tip pool structure.
Our Front-of-House Service Model
Satellite uses a team-based approach to hospitality. While individual roles, sections, and service areas may be assigned, guests should receive consistent support from the full FOH team.
Employees are expected to communicate clearly, support service flow, assist teammates, maintain clean and organized guest areas, and stay aware of what is happening throughout the restaurant, bar, and arcade floor.
We offer a higher hourly base rate because these positions require more ownership, awareness, and flexibility than a traditional single-station FOH role, and as such higher quality standards will be expected in turn.
Responsibilities
- Greet and serve guests in the dining, bar, and arcade areas
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Use the POS system correctly
- Provide knowledgeable menu guidance
- Run food and drinks as part of a team-based service model
- Bus, clean, and reset tables
- Maintain assigned service areas while remaining aware of the full floor
- Assist guests with basic game card questions, arcade-related concerns, and general guest flow
- Monitor dining and arcade areas for spills, cleanliness, guest needs, and safety concerns
- Support the overall flow of service by assisting with food running, table maintenance, guest questions, arcade-floor awareness, cleanliness, and communication with other FOH team members
- Check, clean, and restock restrooms as part of FOH standards
- Communicate guest concerns, allergies, 86s, delays, and service needs to management
- Complete opening, closing, cleaning, and side-work duties
- Follow all company policies, sanitation standards, and alcohol-service procedures
- Participate in paid training and opening team preparation
- Complete any additional duties as dictated by MOD
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous serving experience preferred
- We may train the right candidate with strong hospitality instincts
- Restaurant, bar, arcade bar, brewery, or entertainment venue experience preferred
- Strong guest-service skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-energy environment
- Ability to stay organized and professional during busy service periods
- Must be available nights and weekends
- Sunday availability required
- Must be available for paid training before opening
- Must have reliable transportation
- Punctuality and dependability are required
- Must be able to obtain required alcohol-service certification after hiring, if applicable
- Must be comfortable working within a team-based FOH tip structure
- Must be solutions focused
Schedule
Expected hours of operation are currently planned as:
- Tuesday through Thursday: 4 PM to 12 AM
- Friday: 4 PM to 2 AM
- Saturday: 11 AM to 2 AM
- Sunday: 11 AM to 10 PM
Server shifts may include opening shifts, closing shifts, late-night shifts, and weekend shifts. Nights and weekends are required.
The goal for full-time FOH employees is approximately four 10-hour shifts per week, depending on final scheduling and business needs.
