We are looking for an experienced Litigation Attorney who wants to work on a diverse caseload including mass torts, class action, and general litigation (such as wildfire cases and bad faith insurance involving homeowners, wineries, art galleries, and other establishments).
The successful hire will be comfortable drafting and cite checking briefs with experience managing cases and with California civil discovery practice. This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in high-stakes matters and enjoys variety in their caseload!
Responsibilities

Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, law and motion practice, depositions, mediations, and trial.

Draft high-quality briefs, motions, coverage opinions, and settlement evaluations.

Handle negotiations, settlement conferences, and mediations with insurers, insureds, and opposing counsel.
Qualifications

5+ years of general litigation experience.

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.

Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

Proven ability to independently manage a caseload and work collaboratively with a litigation team.

Trial experience is required.
