Job Summary:
Cleans, sands, primes and generally prepares lighted and residential signage for the paint. Assigns jobs to prep-painters and ensures they are carried out efficiently. Sprays surfaces of manufactured sign products with primer by performing the following duties.
Supervisor Responsibilities: N/A
Job Duties & Responsibilities include the following.
· Reviews work orders for accuracy and assigns tasks to other prep-painters.
· Applies tape over areas not to be coated or primed.
· Monitors and tracks time spent on jobs.
· Bondo all visible seams
· Applying primer to surfaces
· Grinding and sanding seams and edges
· Communicate with design and Fabrication departments to verify work orders.
· Keep prep room clean and free of debris.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Education & Experience:
· High School or GED required.
· Forklift experience
· Auto body shop experience a plus!
· 1-3 years of experience in a related field

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
