We are seeking a Mechanical MEP Engineer with 2–7 years of experience in HVAC design to support commercial, healthcare, education, and mixed-use projects. This role will focus on designing and coordinating mechanical systems from concept through construction, ensuring code compliance, efficiency, and constructability.
Responsibilities:
- Design HVAC systems including load calculations, equipment selection, ductwork, and hydronic systems
- Prepare construction documents and specifications using Revit
- Perform energy code compliance and ventilation calculations
- Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, and architectural teams
- Participate in client meetings and respond to contractor RFIs
- Support construction administration and occasional site visits
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 2–7 years of HVAC design experience in the MEP industry
- Proficiency in Revit required
- EIT required or actively on the path to obtaining EIT certification
- PE license is a plus
- Strong understanding of mechanical codes (IMC, ASHRAE standards)
- Excellent communication and time management skills
