Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Remodeler to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert renovation and remodeling techniques, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship on a variety of residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help bring clients’ visions to life while adhering to safety standards and project timelines. Duties
- Interpret and follow detailed construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute remodeling projects accurately
- Perform demolition, framing, drywall installation, and finishing work with precision and efficiency
- Install windows, doors, flooring, tile, trim carpentry, and other building components to enhance space functionality and aesthetics
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery safely and effectively on outdoor or indoor sites
- Manage plumbing, electrical systems, plastering, caulking, stucco application, masonry work, and restoration tasks as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols at all times by inspecting work sites regularly and adhering to OSHA standards
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to interpret construction plans and meet project specifications
Qualifications
- Proven experience in remodeling or general construction with a strong background in building material installation and finishing trades
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and estimating construction needs using Bluebeam or similar software
- Skilled in carpentry—including trim carpentry—and knowledgeable about window installation and door hanging techniques
- Familiarity with masonry, flooring installation, tile laying, plastering, stucco application, hardscape work, and restoration projects
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment safely in outdoor or indoor environments
- Knowledge of construction management practices and construction inspection procedures for quality assurance
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction site work and outdoor environments
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and interpreting technical instructions
