Responsibilities

- Oversee hiring processes including interviewing, recruiting, and onboarding new team members.
- Manage daily store operations such as cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems, inventory management, and merchandising.
- Coordinate scheduling, shift management, and ensure proper staffing levels for optimal customer service coverage.
- Handle escalated customer inquiries or complaints with professionalism and effective negotiation skills.
- Monitor retail sales performance, analyze retail math data, and adjust strategies to meet sales targets.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching for improvement, and support team development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records related to payroll, bookkeeping, budgeting, and operational procedures.
- Support marketing efforts through promotional activities and community engagement to boost store visibility.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within the retail industry or a similar customer-focused environment.
- Demonstrated supervisory skills with a track record of leading retail sales teams effectively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to train staff and communicate clearly with customers.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases.
- Experience with POS systems, inventory control, cash handling, and retail math is essential.
- Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and employee orientation practices.
- Familiarity with recruiting processes including interviewing techniques and onboarding procedures.
- Knowledge of payroll processing, bookkeeping basics, budgeting, and operational management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently through excellent organizational skills and time management.
- Previous experience in grocery stores or wireless sales environments is a plus but not required.
