Our client seeks a Plant Controller to lead the accounting and financial operations for its Tonawanda manufacturing facility. This on-site leadership role partners closely with plant management to oversee financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, inventory, and process improvements. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you`ll play a key role in driving operational and financial success.
Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly close and financial reporting process
- Analyze product costs and prepare cost reports
- Reconcile intercompany accounts
- Partner with plant leadership on budgeting, cost analysis, and cost-saving initiatives
- Coordinate annual physical inventories and maintain inventory costing
- Prepare sales & use tax, 1099s, and other required filings
- Support financial reporting for the Niagara Falls R&D facility
- Assist with IFS ERP implementation
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies

Job Requirements
- Bachelor`s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of accounting/finance management experience, preferably in manufacturing
- Strong cost accounting and ERP experience
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
