Position Overview
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play an important role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering exceptional cleanliness and service.
Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
As a Housekeeper, your responsibilities will include:
- Clean assigned guest rooms according to hotel brand standards.
- Make beds and replace linens.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, showers, tubs, toilets, and mirrors.
- Dust and disinfect all furniture, fixtures, and high-touch surfaces.
- Vacuum carpets and mop hard flooring.
- Restock towels, toiletries, coffee supplies, and other guest amenities.
- Empty trash and replace liners.
- Remove dirty linens and transport them to the laundry area.
- Report maintenance concerns, damaged items, or safety hazards to management.
- Ensure all rooms are guest-ready before marking them as clean.
- Maintain housekeeping carts by keeping supplies organized and fully stocked.
- Clean hallways, stairwells, and other assigned public areas as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures, chemical handling guidelines, and infection prevention standards.
- Assist fellow team members when needed to ensure daily room completion goals are met.
- Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to communicate professionally with supervisors and coworkers.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 30 pounds throughout the shift.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
