- Implement behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care routines
- Collect accurate data on client behaviors, responses, and progress to inform ongoing treatment adjustments
- Support teaching strategies designed for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities within educational or home settings
- Maintain detailed medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate closely with supervisors, therapists, families, and care teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ethical guidelines related to patient care and behavior management
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), is highly desirable
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance is a plus
- Strong communication skills and patience are essential for building trusting relationships with clients and their families
- Experience in special education or teaching environments can be advantageous but is not mandatory
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while demonstrating flexibility in dynamic settings

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
