Driving Instructor
Jungle Driving School – Brecksville is currently hiring full-time and part-time classroom and behind-the-wheel Instructors to join a growing team of like-minded professionals committed to building something exceptional. Our mission goes beyond basic instruction—we are focused on developing safe, confident teen drivers and delivering an experience that clearly sets us apart from the competition. Our Brecksville location is the first of multiple planned across the Cleveland area, making this a unique opportunity to get in at the ground level of a growing brand.
We will pay for your training and licensing, including the background checks needed to start the process.

Qualifications:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have held a valid driver’s license for at least 5 years.
- Must have a clean driving and criminal record and pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must successfully obtain an Ohio Driver Training Instructor License, if not already certified (prior certification is a huge plus!).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively teach and engage teen drivers.
- Calm, patient, and safety-focused mindset in high-pressure or unpredictable situations.
- Prior experience in teaching, coaching, customer service, or law enforcement is preferred, but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Critical Driving Skills:
- Lead students through the Jungle Driving approved classroom curriculum while also covering all essential state-required content to ensure they have a comprehensive understanding of vehicle operation.
- Administer tests and quizzes to ensure students retain important information and are ready for the road.
In-Vehicle Guidance:
- Ride along with student drivers, offering real-time feedback and assessing their skills to help them become competent drivers.
- Help students become familiar with the car’s controls, gauges, and the basics of vehicle maintenance for safe, responsible driving.
Additional Duties:
- Provide ongoing feedback to both students and parents as students improve their driving skills.
- Prepare and submit all state and company required documents for student assessments and certifications.
- Assist with other related tasks as needed to support our driving program and students’ success.

What does Ohio Driver Education Instructor Training consist of?
You will be required to do observations in a classroom and behind the wheel setting with students taking driver education. Observation hours consist of 24 classroom hours and 16 hours behind the wheel. In addition, you will need to complete the 1 day (8 hour) Basic Instructor Training Course in Columbus. Once observation hours and the BIC is complete, you will have a 2 hour classroom evaluation and a 2 hour behind the wheel observation, totaling the entire training to 52 hours. Ohio Driver Education Instructor Training is easily completed within a 6-8 week period!
