Senior Helpers is seeking a compassionate and experienced male caregiver to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others and previous experience in caregiving roles.
Job Description: I have a client in the Bedford area. Client needs total assistance.
- Assist client with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, light meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Accompany client to appointments and outings as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment.
*Note: Our client has politely requested a male caregiver with experience. We are committed to providing personalized care that meets the preferences and needs of our clients.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred, with a compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
- Familiarity with incontinence care protocols, bed baths, and medication reminders.
- Personal vehicle and valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, as well as clearing a background check and motor vehicle check.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining client confidentiality, as well as the ability to follow care plans and instructions.
- Physical ability to assist with transfers as needed

- Do you have a vehicle and valid insurance to use exclusively during work hours to run errands and occasionally transport client to Dr. appointments. Mileage is reimbursed for client errands and appts.
- What is your availability?
- Do you have experience providing personal care for clients? Examples include bathing, toileting, oral hygiene, clothing assistance, etc. If not, training is provided!
- We service clients in communities including Bedford, Colleyville, Euless, Grapevine, Hurst, Keller, North Richland Hills, Roanoke, Southlake. Are these communities you would be comfortable working in?
- We provide 1 on 1 personal and companion care for seniors, either in their own homes or in the facilities where they live. Are you comfortable initiating conversation and participating in activities to enrich the client's life and create an enjoyable environment?
