Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, including hotels, residential properties, and industrial facilities. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an eye for detail to ensure that all areas meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, and other public areas.
- Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, buffing, and waxing as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized for efficient use.
- Follow established procedures for handling hazardous materials and cleaning chemicals safely.
Skills
- Proficiency in general cleaning techniques with a focus on hospitality standards.
- Experience in industrial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices to maintain operational efficiency.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
