Job Summary:
We are an all-natural lice treatment company that is seeking 2-3 people to join our team. Our treatment is a natural non-chemical heated-air treatment. Please see our website and check out the process before applying (https://www.liceclinicsofamerica.com/landing/sunnyvale/).
We do our treatments by appointment only. The person that we are seeking will be positive, patient, good with kids, and have a confident but comforting demeanor about them. They also need to be trustworthy and responsible. Parents that come to us are typically stressed out and it is our job to make sure they feel completely calm and happy by the time they leave. Lice is no fun, but with our treatment, it is a fast and easy problem to cure.
We need someone that is flexible with their hours and has transportation. We offer paid training and a good work environment. Experience in the fields of medical assistant, C.N.A, cosmetology, hair, or working with children is preferred but not required. Background check is required.
As a Clinician your duty will be to:
- Provide treatment using our FDA-cleared medical device
- Ensure the wellbeing and comfort of the client
- Provide head checks
- Maintain facility cleanliness
- Conduct customer checkout and payment
- Educate families on the facts of lice
- Provide clear and accurate home care instructions
- Sales of retail product to accompany the services provided
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Retail sales or customer service experience preferred
- Experience working with children and/or families preferred
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 20 pounds
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment for extended periods of time
- Ability to thoroughly clean & sanitize tools, equipment, and clinic space following all treatments.
Compensation:
Wages start between $18-$23 per hour. Every client is an opportunity to increase your salary by earning tips as well as commission on retail products created by LCA as well as partnering brands. For on-call, or temporary shifts, every appointment that involves a treatment is guaranteed two hours of hourly pay. A scheduled appointment that results in a no-show or cancelation will be paid one hour of hourly pay.
