Duties
- Supervise and coordinate shift activities to ensure smooth restaurant operations from opening to closing.
- Lead staff training and development, including onboarding new team members and providing ongoing coaching.
- Oversee food preparation food handling to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Manage inventory control, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Enforce food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and compliance with health regulations.
- Support team management by interviewing candidates, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a positive work environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Skilled in POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient sales processing.
- Excellent team management abilities with experience supervising staff in hospitality or food service settings.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control, and food handling procedures.
- Effective communication skills for managerial tasks such as training, coaching, and customer service interactions.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, budgeting, and profit/loss analysis.
- Familiarity with culinary techniques, catering operations, bar service, or banquet experience is a plus.
