Immunizing Pharmacist Highlights
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM (40 hours/week)
- Onsite: Onsite / patient-facing
- Assignment Type: Temporary (approx. 10 weeks)

Responsibilities
- Administer multiple immunizations (e.g., flu, shingles, COVID, etc.).
- Provide empathetic, compassionate patient care and customer support.
- Adapt quickly and thrive in a dynamic community healthcare environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver better patient outcomes.
- Help promote a team culture of caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Apply clinical knowledge to support and drive healthy outcomes.
Requirements
- Active Pharmacist license in Iowa
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA)
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
- Valid Driver’s License
- No pending felony charges or convictions involving controlled substances
- Ability to work on-site as needed
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D.
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required
Preferred
- Prior vaccine administration experience
- Strong patient-facing communication skills; ability to demonstrate empathy/compassion
- Comfort adapting to change and supporting a positive team culture
