Qualifications
- Active Ohio Intervention Specialist License or Special Education teaching certification
- Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field
- Previous experience working with high school students preferred

- Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective accommodations and modifications
- Passion for helping at-risk students achieve academic success
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction and support to high school students receiving special education services
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, families, and service providers
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
- Support students in achieving academic, behavioral, and graduation goals
- Create a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
- Participate in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and professional development activities
