We have an extensive delivery network and are looking for a safe and reliable driver to assist with delivery of 9 franchise purchase orders and routine shopping at Restaurant Depot. Inventory accuracy and invoicing competency is a must. Applicants must be able to pass a driving record background check, navigate cities and work along a predetermined route. Job requires frequent lifting of objects, routinely up to 75lbs.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using proper lifting techniques
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service by delivering products with a friendly and professional attitude
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
Experience:
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks
- Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to navigate using GPS or maps to locate delivery addresses
- Good communication skills to interact with Store Managers
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate delivery of products
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
