AMO is currently accepting applications for a Senior Level Project Geologist/Scientist for our Pittsburgh, PA office. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of field experience, and 3-5 years Project Management experience; a working knowledge of GIS would be preferred. Role will involve mix of field and office however, field work will decrease as additional staff are retained. Please feel free to send us your resume. Below are general qualifications we look for:
· Bachelor’s degree in geology or a related science;
· Preparing for licensure as a Professional Geologist and/or Licensed Site Remediation Professional;
· Working knowledge of environmental regulations associated with soil, groundwater, and vapor intrusion investigative methods in Pennsylvania;
· EPA Brownfields Grant experience, preferred;
· Current OSHA HAZWOPER certification;
· Proficient with Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
· Experience with ESRI ArcGIS and/or CAD software;
· Must have good communication skills; and
· Work well in a team-oriented environment.
