<Responsibilities>
- Conduct thorough psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments to identify mental health conditions and formulate personalized treatment plans.
- Deliver a wide range of therapeutic interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), group therapy, individual counseling, and family therapy tailored to each patient's needs.
- Provide crisis intervention services to stabilize patients experiencing acute mental health episodes or emergencies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and caregivers—to coordinate comprehensive care strategies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations; document patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes diligently.
- Administer psychological testing to assess cognitive functioning, behavioral issues, or developmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder.
- Supervise clinical interns or junior staff members to promote professional development and ensure high-quality patient care.
- Engage in ongoing research activities to stay current with best practices in mental health treatment and contribute to clinical studies when applicable.
<Requirements>
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution; licensure or certification as required by state law.
- Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or specific populations such as geriatrics or individuals with disabilities.
- Strong expertise in evidence-based therapies including CBT, behavioral health interventions, and psychotherapy techniques.
- Experience conducting psychological testing, diagnostic evaluations, and intake assessments.
- Familiarity with crisis intervention protocols and managing emergency situations effectively.
- Prior hospital or inpatient/outpatient clinic experience is highly desirable; telehealth experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical records management to ensure patient confidentiality and compliance.
