Pro Shop Assistant Manager
Assist in running the Pro Shop at South Florida's premier pickleball destination: 43 courts, a world-first pickleball stadium, and a members' community that plays here several times a week.
Location / Type: The Fort · Full-Time (includes weekends, evenings & major events)
Reports To: Pro Shop Manager & General manager
Compensation: Varies based on experience + benefits, PTO, and club membership
The Role
Our Pro Shop is a shop-within-a-club, not a standalone store. Retail here is a relationship business built on knowing our members and guests, what they like, and how they play. We're looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Assistant Manager to be the operational support of the shop: receiving product, keeping our Shopify catalog accurate, and making sure the right merchandise is on the floor every day. You'll partner with the Pro Shop Manager on ordering and seasonal planning, support sales and member service, and help grow into greater responsibility over time.
What You'll Do
- Receive and process all incoming product: verify against orders, inspect, tag, and stock accurately.
- Own our Shopify catalog: product entry, pricing, images, and keeping inventory in sync.
- Run daily and weekly replenishment so best-sellers and high-demand paddles, shoes, and apparel are never out of stock.
- Partner with the Pro Shop Manager on seasonal planning, ordering, and buying decisions.
- Serve members with expert, personal recommendations and support day-to-day sales and merchandising.
- Create pop-up sales and retail activations tied to The Fort's events and tournaments.
- Help lead the floor and support staff in the Manager's absence.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of retail experience (specialty retail, pro shop, sporting goods, or apparel).
- Hands-on Shopify or similar e-commerce/POS experience.
- Real strength in inventory: receiving, replenishment, and accurate record-keeping.
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
- Great customer service and availability on weekends, evenings, and event days.
Bonus Points
- Experience in a country-club pro shop and also traditional retail store.
- Supervisory experience or ambition to grow.
- Comfort with sales reporting and buying/seasonal planning.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
