We are in need of a self motivated ready to work Medical Assistant , ONLY the serious need to apply with medical experience and background only PLEASE.
As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support your provider as well as all clinical staff and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Triage and room patients efficiently.
- Review patients basic medical history at each office visit.
- Update patient medication record at every office visit.
- Assist during medical examinations.
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments.
- Assist with patient refills, and documents needed for patients.
- Perform lab draws for our patients as well as outside orders ONLY if help is needed.
- Prepare specimens for pick up and have ready when currier arrives.
- Correspond with patients by replying to their phone or email messages.
- Correspond with provider a must.
- Correspond with Office Manager a must.
- Always be a team player.
- Be dependable as well as reliable.
Skills
- Proven working experience as a medical assistant.
- Knowledge of medical office procedures.
- Knowledge of medications and why they are used.
- Knowledge of immunization or injections.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Social perceptiveness and service oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.
- Degree in medical assistance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour depending on experience
Expected hours: 40 per week paid biweekly
