Part-Time Phlebotomist – Join Our Passionate Team!
Location: Cedar Grove , Wayne and Hillsborough Township, NJ
Schedule: Monday Wednesday and Friday, 5:00 AM to 9AM
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. If you have a passion for helping people and providing excellent care, we’d love to hear from you!
Some training provided – primarily in L.I.S. systems and insurance processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections across all age groups
- Accurately enter patient data and accession specimens in a timely manner
- Process insurance and billing information as needed
- Prepare specimens for testing and laboratory analysis
- Maintain and update patient and specimen databases
- Deliver outstanding customer service to patients and clients
- Perform administrative and clerical tasks as required
- Travel to additional locations, including home draws and school-based COVID PCR testing
- Assist the laboratory team as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited program
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist preferred
- Basic knowledge of phlebotomy procedures required
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Flexible availability is a plus
