Physical Therapist (PT) – Full-Time | Part-Time | Per Diem

Position Summary
ATC Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our healthcare team on a full-time, part-time, or per diem basis. The Physical Therapist will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients restore mobility, improve physical function, reduce pain, and enhance overall quality of life. The ideal candidate is committed to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals across a variety of clinical settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions, functional abilities, and rehabilitation needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals, clinical findings, and patient goals.
- Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise programs, manual therapy, gait training, balance training, mobility training, and therapeutic modalities.
- Monitor patient progress, reassess outcomes, and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal results.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, injury prevention, and wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education activities.
- Promote patient safety while maintaining a compassionate and supportive environment throughout the rehabilitation process.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active Physical Therapist (PT) license in good standing.
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and patient care skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical Physical Therapy experience.
- Experience in acute care, outpatient, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, home health, or hospital settings.
- Experience treating orthopedic, neurological, geriatric, or post-surgical patient populations.
- Knowledge of current evidence-based rehabilitation practices.

Pay: $50.46 - $60.77 per hour
