In this energetic role, you’ll support bartenders and staff by ensuring the bar area remains clean, stocked, and organized, enabling smooth service and an exceptional guest experience. Duties
- Restock bar supplies including glassware, ice, garnishes, liquor, and mixers swiftly to keep the bar fully prepared for service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area by cleaning glasses, utensils, bar tools, and surfaces regularly.
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing empty dishes to ensure a tidy dining environment.
- Support bartenders with inputting all carry out ordering both over the phone and on our delivery tablets.
- Help with food prep tasks like slicing fruit or preparing simple garnishes to streamline service.
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation standards are followed at all times in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Handle basic cash handling duties when necessary and assist with order taking using Square POS.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Strong communication skills and friendly in-person customer service abilities to engage guests positively
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or cleaning equipment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Experience with POS systems is a plus but training will be provided
