The role of a Warehouse Associate-Driver demands a well-organized individual proficient in diverse tasks, encompassing the reception and processing of incoming stock and materials, retrieving and fulfilling orders from the inventory, and meticulously packing and delivering orders in adherence to specified guidelines. In addition to these responsibilities, the Associate will be equipped with the necessary skills for driving duties, ensuring timely and secure transportation of goods.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Driving:
- Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks, in compliance with traffic laws and regulations.
- Execute daily delivery routes, ensuring timely and secure transportation of plumbing materials to designated jobsites.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to load and unload goods efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date driving records and documentation.
- Exercise caution and professionalism when representing the company during transportation activities.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while driving and handling materials.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Minimum High School or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Driver’s License (non-CDL)
- Good communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong work ethics
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure
- Forklift Experience a plus
