AIS Construction Equipment is Michigan’s oldest locally owned and operated heavy equipment company, proudly serving customers for over 60 years. We are seeking a part-time Parts Delivery Driver to join our Traverse City team.
Responsibilities
- Safely load and secure parts on a flatbed truck and trailer when necessary.
- Deliver heavy equipment parts to customers throughout West Michigan.
- Maintain a professional and courteous interaction with customers at jobsites and businesses.
- Operate a forklift as needed.
- Pull parts orders and assist with shipping and receiving when required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Schedule: No weekends, overnights, or evenings.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.
- Valid state-issued chauffer's license preferred
- DOT Medical Card required (AIS will assist if you do not have one).
- Experience towing a trailer.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
- Able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Customer service experience and/or knowledge of heavy equipment is a plus.
