Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Automotive Technician to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair customer vehicles. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems.
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake service, and fluid replacement.
- Repair engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, braking, cooling, and electrical systems.
- Use computerized diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely.
- Test-drive vehicles and conduct post-repair inspections.
- Prepare accurate estimates and document services, labor, and parts used.
- Explain recommended repairs clearly to service advisors or customers.
- Follow manufacturer procedures and workplace safety standards.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive repair or maintenance experience.
- Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with modern vehicle systems and diagnostic software.
- Ability to read repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Ability to lift automotive parts and work while standing, bending, or reaching for extended periods.

Work Environment
This position is primarily performed in an automotive repair shop and may involve exposure to noise, fumes, oils, chemicals, moving equipment, and varying temperatures. Appropriate personal protective equipment must be used.
