Wholesale Operations Planner, Walmart
The Wholesale Operations Manager is responsible for leading all operational and supply chain activities for the Walmart business. This role serves as the primary operational partner to Sales, Planning, Production, Logistics, and Walmart stakeholders, ensuring flawless execution, inventory management, and long-term account growth. The ideal candidate combines strong strategic planning capabilities with deep expertise in Walmart's systems, processes, and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Own the operational strategy and execution for the Walmart account.
- Lead forecasting, inventory planning, order management, and replenishment initiatives.
- Partner with Sales leadership to support growth opportunities and seasonal business plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Walmart merchants, replenishment teams, and operational contacts.
- Oversee order fulfillment, supply chain performance, and inventory health to maximize in-stock performance.
- Ensure compliance with Walmart programs, requirements, and vendor standards.
- Identify risks and develop proactive solutions to support sales and operational objectives.
- Analyze business performance and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
Qualifications
- Experience managing Walmart wholesale account.
- Direct experience working within Walmart systems, including Retail Link, Supplier One, and related Walmart reporting and replenishment tools.
- Proven success managing inventory, forecasting, supply chain operations, and account performance for a Walmart vendor.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Footwear, apparel, or consumer products experience preferred.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
