Information System Security Officer-ISSO (Langley, AFB-VA)
Datum Software Inc. d/b/a Datum Technologies Group team is currently looking to hire an experienced Information System Security Officer who will be responsible for providing ISSO support for 700 ASUS IAW DAFMAN 13-1AOCV3 Section 10.13, except where those responsibilities have been assumed by the AOC System Program Office (AOC SPO). ISSOs will also secure 700 ASUS WS IAW DAFMAN 17-101.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Function as a technical specialist on computer systems security.
· Participate in the review and evaluation of existing software procedures and recommend improvements to processes that contribute to automated data processing security incidents and the associated reporting procedures.
· Collaborate with other AOC WS ISSOs external to 700 ASUS to ensure standardization.
· Advise 700 ASUS personnel on security policies and procedures, including drafting and implementing unit Risk Management Framework. Provide training to new personnel as required.
· Recommend unit policies and procedures IAW security regulations, instructions, and unit Risk Management Framework (RMF).
· Apply information security and information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery, installation, and maintenance of AOC WS Software.
· Ensure network configuration changes and hardware installations comply with applicable security regulations and instructions prior to implementation.
· Provide trouble ticket management, coordination, and resolution as a member of the AOC enterprise help desk.
· Assist with evaluation, administration, and monitoring of security authentication technologies.
· Serve as the 700 ASUS focal point for all AOC Weapon System Information Security matters, including: Risk analyses, creating, maintaining, and updating all applicable certification and accreditation packages IAW established timelines.
· Assist the 700 ASUS customers’ ISSO with conducting risk analyses, security tests, and security incident investigations.
· Conduct system security evaluations, audits, and reviews to facilitate the gathering, analysis, and preservation of information and assets related to computer security incidents.
· Assist in the development and maintenance of system security contingency plans and disaster recovery procedures.
· Coordinate with the CM section to ensure all security issues are resolved prior to implementing any software changes or installations.
· Perform information assurance security control compliance inspections.
· Work with military staff and other external agencies to assist the 700 ASUS in cyber security matters related to developing mission sets, including but not limited to the AOC Network Operations Center/Security Operations Center.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Top Secret Security Clearance (SSBI)
- COMP TIA Security + certification
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Datum Lead or Datum leadership.
