We are currently seeking a dependable Packaging Assistant to support our packaging and warehouse operations.
Position Overview
As a Packaging Assistant, you will help prepare products for shipment by packaging, labeling, inspecting, and organizing items according to company standards. You will work closely with production and warehouse team members to ensure products are packaged accurately, safely, and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Package products according to established quality and safety standards.
- Inspect products before packaging to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Apply labels and prepare products for shipping.
- Assemble boxes and organize packaging materials.
- Prepare completed packages for storage or distribution.
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas.
- Assist with inventory organization and replenishment of packaging supplies.
- Report damaged products or packaging issues to supervisors.
- Follow workplace safety and food handling procedures.
- Support additional production and warehouse activities as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift and move packages safely throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills are a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
