WesTex Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing teams in Odessa, TX.

What You'll Do
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages with a wide variety of acute illnesses and injuries
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including laboratory studies, X-rays, and EKGs
- Develop evidence-based treatment plans and prescribe medications as appropriate
- Perform common urgent care procedures, including laceration repair, splinting, incision and drainage, wound care, and other in-office procedures
- Provide occupational medicine services, including DOT physicals and Workers' Compensation evaluations
- Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
- Document patient encounters accurately using Athena EMR
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to deliver efficient, patient-centered care

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Active Texas NP or PA license
- Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Board Certified (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS preferred)
- DOT Medical Examiner Certification is a plus but not required
- Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience preferred
- Family Practice providers with strong acute care experience are encouraged to apply
- Exceptional new graduates with strong emergency or acute care clinical rotations will be considered
