Automotive Body / Metal Technician
Smothers Supercars is looking for an experienced Body and/or Metal Technician to join our body shop team.
We build street/strip muscle cars that are low maintenance and reliable and we do everything from sheet metal/body work/paint to engine/transmission builds to suspension rebuilds to motor swaps to carburetor/distributor tuning to EFI installs.
We currently have six employees on the body shop side and are looking to add another dependable, hardworking technician who takes pride in doing quality work.
Responsibilities
Depending on experience, work may include:
- Automotive body repair
- Sheet metal repair and replacement
- Rust repair
- Panel replacement and alignment
- Bodywork and surface preparation
- Fabrication and metal finishing
- Restoration work on classic and muscle cars
Experience in either metal work, body work, or both is welcome.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time position working a 4-day, 40-hour workweek:
Monday through Thursday
6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Four 10-hour days

Pay is based on experience, skill, productivity, dependability, and work ethic.
