**Job Summary: **
We are seeking a Part-Time Cook/Steward to assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization in our establishment. The Cook/Steward will be responsible for preparing meals, washing dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, and pans. They will also ensure the kitchen and food service areas are kept clean and sanitized.
**Responsibilities: **
1. Prepare meals following recipes and food safety guidelines.
2. Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
3. Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
4. Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
5. Ensure kitchen floors, walls, and countertops are clean and sanitized.
6. Remove trash and clean garbage containers regularly.
7. Assist with unloading and storing deliveries.
8. Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures.
**Qualifications: **
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Proven experience as a Cook, Steward, or in a similar role is preferred.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
5. Knowledge of sanitation regulations.
6. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items.
7. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
8. Certification in food safety is a plus.
