Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Psychotherapist to join our dynamic mental health team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and treatment planning protocols.
- Deliver a wide range of therapeutic interventions including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, behavioral therapy, grief counseling, and art or dance therapy as appropriate.
- Utilize evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and crisis intervention techniques to support clients with co-occurring disorders or complex needs.
- Provide individual, group, family, and child/youth therapy sessions via telehealth or in-person settings while adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines.
- Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis management strategies and behavior management techniques to ensure client safety and well-being.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in electronic health records (EHR/EMR), including patient care notes, medical records, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and treatment summaries in compliance with medical documentation standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for case management, patient assessment, and research initiatives to enhance service quality and clinical outcomes.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid licensure or certification as a licensed professional counselor (LPC), licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), psychologist or equivalent according to state requirements.
- Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults or geriatrics in outpatient or inpatient settings; experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities or co-occurring disorders is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices such as CBT, trauma-focused therapy, behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, addiction counseling, and grief counseling.
- Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for clinical counseling sessions while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, clinical research methods, ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes and clinical documentation standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients effectively across diverse populations; proficiency in crisis management and crisis intervention techniques is essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and demonstrate cultural competence in serving clients from varied backgrounds.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
