American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of inpatient rehab experience for a 13-week assignment in an inpatient rehabilitation unit in Augusta, GA.

Inpatient rehabilitation unit (6E) in a 354-bed acute care hospital in Augusta, GA
-
Evening shift: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
-
Standard schedule is Monday–Friday with 2 weekends required during the 13-week assignment; 2 weekday off-days provided during weekend rotation weeks

Caseload of 4–6 patients; average of 3–4 patient treatments per day, occasionally up to 5
-
28-bed inpatient rehab unit with 2 therapy techs on weekdays and 1 on weekends

Equipment includes hi-low mats, NuStep, parallel bars, steps, balls, weights, car simulator, Bioness L200 and H300, and BITS interactive computer system

Wound care procedures performed on unit

Documentation via Meditech; experience with the Care Tool preferred

No floating required

Active OT license (license required if applicable)

Minimum 1 year of inpatient rehab experience; must have active experience within the last 6 months

Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment)

US SSN and DOB required for consideration

One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)

Experience with inpatient rehabilitation and the Care Tool is preferred

Black scrubs and closed-toe shoes required

The facility is part of the HCA Healthcare network and is home to the largest burn center in the country, as well as a Human Motion Institute, Stroke Center, and Pelvic Health Institute

Augusta offers a vibrant downtown scene, the Augusta Riverwalk, and is home to The Masters golf tournament

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted
