The role
We are looking for our next student intern!
This is a one year paid placement, starting between June and September 2026, working hands-on in our world-class laboratories in Oxford to help discover and elucidate novel herbicidal modes of action.
You will receive lab-based training on our platforms for high-content microscopy, plant genetics, biochemistry, bioanalytics, bioinformatics, target validation and weed validation, and play an important and meaningful role in the ground breaking work that we do.
It is a fantastic opportunity to develop your research skills if you are aiming for a first, considering applying to a masters or doctoral programme and/or a potential career in biotech R&D.
Eligibility:
– Current second year undergraduates studying for a degree in biology, biochemistry, genetics, plant biology or bioinformatics on a sandwich course at a UK university which includes a one year industry placement
– Current final year undergraduates at a UK university (due to graduate summer 2026) studying for a degree in biology, biochemistry, genetics, plant biology or bioinformatics
– Must have the right to work in the UK
– As we invest a lot of resource in your training, you must be willing and able to commit for the duration of the placement
