Position Overview
The Warehouse Operations Specialist plays a vital support role in our production shop by leading the efficient flow of materials, jobs, and inventory throughout the warehouse operation. This position handles shipping, receiving, inventory control, stocking, and accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing goods. The role requires strong attention to detail, organization, time management, and the ability to work closely with internal team, vendors, and carriers to ensure materials are received, stored, tracked, and shipped accurately and on schedule. We are looking for a HIGH ENERGY, roll-up-your-sleeves go-getter who isn't afraid to hustle, learn and put in the work to get the job done right! Key Responsibilities
- Package parts for shipment and stage loads for outbound deliveries/coordinate with Delivery Drivers.
- Receiving/unload inbound shipments of parts, inventory or new jobs
- Accuracy in documentation- maintains records for shipments, receipts, returns and inventory adjustments.
- Inventory management – Monitors stock levels, performs cycle counts, and helps prevent shortages or overstock.
- Maintain shop organization- sweep, clean work areas, restock materials, do what is needed to get the job done.
- Safely operate forklifts, hoists, overhead crane, skyjajck and hand tools.
- Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and quality standards.
- Participate in daily team meetings and assist in continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications & Skills -Required:
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail. ORGANIZED.
- Forklift/Overhead Crane/SkyJack experience a MUST
- Basic Computer Skills
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a hands-on industrial environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a team setting.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand & power tools.
Qualifications & Skills -Preferred:
- Experience in industrial, automotive, diesel, or fabrication shop environments.
- Forklift certification or experience operating material-handling equipment.
- Inventory control experience.
Work Environment
- Industrial shop setting — exposure to heat, noise, and various equipment.
- Full PPE provided (gloves, eye protection, hearing protection, etc.). Work Uniforms and Boots Provided.
- Monday–Friday schedule (occasional overtime as needed).
