Requirements:
Current PCA certification or CNA license
Valid driver’s license
Reliable personal vehicle
Proof of current auto insurance
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Current TB test
Experience working with clients diagnosed with Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease
Ability to pass a background check
No allergies to cats
Must be willing to transport and accompany clients on community outings
Responsibilities:
Provide companionship and emotional support
Engage the client in conversation, activities, and social interaction
Perform light housekeeping and household cleaning
Accompany the client to parks, appointments, and community activities
Ensure the client’s safety and well-being during outings
Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition or behavior
Ideal Candidate:
Patient, compassionate, and reliable
Comfortable working with individuals living with Dementia and Alzheimer’s
Enjoys community engagement and helping clients remain active and connected
Dependable transportation and excellent attendance
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
