Position Summary
The Office Clerk provides administrative and clerical support to various departments within the organization and other operational areas as needed. This position serves as a primary point of contact for incoming calls, assists with daily office operations, maintains accurate records, and supports administrative functions to ensure efficient workflow. The Office Clerk is expected to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent customer service while contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls professionally and courteously.
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, vendors, and community partners.
- Perform general clerical duties including filing, scanning, copying, data entry, and document management.
- Provide administrative support to various departments as assigned.
- Maintain accurate and organized records.
- Assist with insurance verification, billing support, and compliance-related administrative tasks as needed.
- Respond to routine inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient, employee, and organizational information.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by management.
- Support daily office operations while ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently.
Minimum Qualifications Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Texas Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to pass required background checks and pre-employment screenings.
Preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Previous clerical, administrative, customer service, or healthcare office experience.

- May be required to travel locally for business-related errands, meetings, or document delivery.
