About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist to support an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and Neurodiagnostic Lab in Camden, NJ. This is a great opportunity for a skilled EEG professional with experience in epilepsy monitoring, digital EEG, and evoked potential testing.
Responsibilities
- Perform neurodiagnostic testing in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) and routine Neurodiagnostic Lab.
- Perform and monitor digital EEG studies, including video EEG.
- Review and edit inpatient video monitoring.
- Perform VEP, BAER, and SSEP recordings.
- Perform routine EEG procedures, including occasional coverage at an off-site office.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure quality of neurodiagnostic studies.
- Occasionally serve as a preceptor for students.
Qualifications
- Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist with successful completion of the examination by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologists (ABRET).
- Graduate of an accredited EEG school preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in the neurodiagnostic field and/or experience in an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.
- Experience with digital EEG and video EEG monitoring.
- Experience reviewing and editing inpatient video monitoring.
- At least 2 years of experience working under the supervision of a Registered EEG Technologist.
- Experience performing VEP, BAER, and SSEP recordings.
Position Details
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 3 shifts per week / 36 hours
- Camden, New Jersey
- Contract dates: August 31, 2026 – February 3, 2027
Ideal candidates will have strong EEG/EMU experience and be comfortable working independently in a hospital-based neurodiagnostic environment.
