Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through proper floor care techniques such as sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing
- Restock supplies like toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to ensure guest satisfaction
- Follow established safety and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards and prevent hazards
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest safety
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Support the overall cleanliness of the hotel by performing janitorial tasks in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms
Experience
- Prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles within hotels or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Experience with floor care techniques and industrial cleaning equipment is advantageous
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and custodial practices will help ensure high-quality service delivery
- Housekeeping management experience is a plus for those interested in supervisory or team-leading roles
- Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
