Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Process retail sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments with accuracy and integrity.
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Assist with food preparation, food handling, and serving to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas including dining spaces, kitchen stations, and food prep zones.
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and ensuring a clean environment for guests.
- Manage POS operations smoothly during busy hours, demonstrating excellent time management skills to serve multiple tables efficiently.
Requirements
- Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; retail math skills are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability in cashiering, cashier server roles, or retail sales transactions with cash handling expertise.
- Experience in food service, including food preparation, serving, and food safety management practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and proactive approach to guest needs.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy; familiarity with grocery store or retail math is advantageous.
