The Jewelry Group is seeking a part-time Selling Specialist (18 hours a week) based in Garden City, NY (Roosevelt Field Macy’s). The Selling Specialist will be responsible for selling the following Jewelry Group brands: Givenchy, Donna Karan, Marchesa, Ralph Lauren, DKNY, Karl Lagerfeld, and Anne Klein
The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Engaging with customers and closing sales for The Jewelry Group brands
- Developing relationships in store with associates and all levels of management
· Communicating trends, product knowledge, and selling information to the store
· Maintaining brand presentations
· Ensure that promotional and markdown events are executed correctly at store level
· Reporting issues and concerns to Regional Manager
· Completing weekly time sheets and store reports
The qualifications required for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Must be available Thursday, Friday, and Saturday during prime selling hours (12-6pm)
· Strong communication and customer engagement skills
· 3 years of previous retail, selling and/or merchandising experience
· Basic knowledge of selling reports and sales to stock ratio
