Duties
- Curate and play a diverse playlist tailored to the couple’s preferences and event theme, ensuring high-energy entertainment throughout the celebration
- Act as the master of ceremonies (MC), guiding guests through the event schedule with confidence and charisma
- Engage with guests using lively public speaking skills, encouraging participation in dances, games, and announcements
- Coordinate with event staff and vendors to ensure smooth transitions between different segments of the wedding program
- Manage technical equipment such as microphones, speakers, and lighting to deliver optimal sound and visual experience
- Assist with setup and breakdown of equipment, including heavy lifting when necessary to transport gear safely
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor, creating an inviting atmosphere for all attendees
Requirements
- Proven experience in DJing or MC roles at weddings or similar events is preferred, willing to train beginners with a great attitude
- Strong communication skills with an energetic and engaging presence
- Excellent customer service skills to connect with clients and guests effectively
- Ability to have a great time and encourage guest participation on the dance floor
- Willingness to perform heavy lifting when transporting equipment or supplies
- Exceptional public speaking skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for diverse audiences
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work evenings, weekends (Saturday) , and holidays as needed
